-Freedom: Freedom is the bedrock that underpins everything we do and makes life worth living. Citizens should be economically and socially free to live and choose responsibly without state control, interference or coercion. It includes freedom of speech, thought, expression, movement, association, assembly and enjoyment of property.  
 - Integrity:
Integrity means being honest at all times and not being afraid to tell the truth. It is a cornerstone of a moral society, the foundation of trust, fairness and justice, and fundamental for good community and professional interactions. Without it, values are meaningless. 
 - Family:
Family is the bedrock of society. Strong families build strong communities and a strong country. A traditional, loving and stable family provides the best environment to bring up children, enabling them to thrive, achieve their potential and become good citizens of the United Kingdom.
 - Democracy: 
Democracy means a government of the people, by the people, for the people. It is the ability of the population to choose its leaders, the core of our legal and justice system, and calls for limited government. Democracy underpins our ability to change or adhere to our values. It includes free speech, equality under the rule of law and equality of opportunity.
 - Responsibility:
Responsibility means being accountable for our choices and actions, living wisely within our means, both individually and as a society. From responsibility comes a sense of duty and compassion, a commitment to putting the needs of others before our own. This demands a free market economy and the low taxes of a small state, enabling people to succeed and be rewarded for hard work.
 - Security:
National security, the defence of the realm, is the first job of all governments. This requires peace through strength, secure borders and tight controls on immigration. It requires our armed forces to be well equipped and includes feeling safe on our streets and in our homes, plus financial security in illness or old age.
 - Patriotism:
Patriotism means taking pride in and celebrating our great country, a commitment to the United Kingdom as a sovereign nation, and a love for the centuries-old British heritage, traditions, language, culture, institutions and values for which our ancestors fought and that have been adopted by so much of the world.
